The Tragically Hip Share ‘The Holy Grail Of Unreleased Tracks’
The Tragically Hip’s debut album Up To Here was the band’s introduction to the world and provided them will immediate breakthrough success. The popular album featured favorites like “Blow at High Dough” and “New Orleans is Sinking” which helped them earn the JUNO Award for “most promising artist” in 1990. Now, the album is being given new life.
Not only is The Tragically Hip coming out with a commemorative boxset of Up To Here, they’re also finally releasing “Get Back Again” which has fans itching in excitement. The track was recorded before signing their first major record deal with MCA (which is now Universal Music Canada) in November of 1988! That was even before their Up To Here sessions!
The band performed the song “Get Back Again” during the Live At Misty Moon set and up until now that was the only recorded version of the song! However, that’s all changing tonight! The song will also be getting a brand new music video directed by Cleveland Henderson, the son of Pete Henderson, who directed many of the band’s videos including “Locked In The Truck Of A Car” and “Courage (For Hugh MacLennan)”. That video will officially premiere on The Tragically Hip’s YouTube tonight at 7pm!

I’ve had the chance to see The Tragically Hip live a couple of times and have been a fan since I was in middle school. I played a lot of hockey with my friends and we always appreciated “that song about Bobby Orr” which we now call by its real title, “Fireworks.”
You can pre-order the boxset here. Don’t miss the premiere of the music video for “Get Back Again” on The Tragically Hip’s YouTube channel tonight at 7pm! One of the best Canadian bands of all-time!
