A police officer in Columbus, Ohio has been fired after excessive acts at a grocery store while on duty! We mentioned earlier that he’s the latest cop to get in trouble for sexual activity while on duty. Recently, Dave & Chuck The Freak talked about an officer who filmed a little skit for OnlyFans while on duty. You can’t do that! Now, it’s an officer who reportedly engaged in sexual acts multiple times while on duty at a local grocery store.
According to WCMH, Officer Robert Spann has been terminated for his actions at a Kroger in the area where he had consensual sexual activity with a store employee. Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant tells NBC4, “He was caught on camera doing some sexual acts and it was an excessive amount of times. I want to believe at least nine times that was caught on camera, and when that was brought to the inspector general’s attention regarding an investigation, they in turn contracted us.”
Nine times? That’s crazy! How on earth do you expect not to get busted when you’re doing it that many times? I was curious at how many times “excessive” would be considered and didn’t think it would make it as high as nine times! That is, indeed, excessive.
When it came to punishment, the inspector general’s office deliberated whether or not there would be criminal charges and the store played a role in the decision. In the end, they decided against any criminal charges. Bryant tells NBC4, “Once it was determined that it was not going to be criminal because Kroger chose not to prosecute, it was then investigated by the inspector general. The recommendation was made that there be discipline regarding what he did. It was brought to our attention. It came here and ultimately we made the decision that he should be fired.”
NBC4 points out that he’s the second officer to be fired there within a week. In another case, Officer Donovan Bever was fired after a videotaped arrest showed him shove a teen’s face into a concrete sidewalk.
