97-Year-Old New Zealand Man Becomes World’s Oldest Motorcycle Racer

People say age is just a number and for one 97-year-old man from New Zealand, this is true. He has recently claimed a Guinness World Record as the oldest person to participate in a competitive motorcycle race. Just three weeks before his 98th birthday he took part in a storied race in New Zealand had ended up finishing in fourth place. A few years ago he actually finished in the top spot before injuries and the pandemic causing the race to be postponed. If all goes to plan, he will be racing next year at almost 99-years-old!
