It’s that time of the year for fairs and especially with the 4th of July holiday this week the summer festivals are in full swing. If you’ve listened to this show long enough you know a pretty common theme at these fairs is mechanical failures with the carnival rides. A Wisconsin fair ride known as ‘The Fireball’ suffered a mechanical failure leaving it’s riders, most of them kids, hanging upside-down, for a few hours as rescue crews attempted to bring them to safety. It was a scary experience for parents and those who were stuck on the ride as well. According to reports, all of the people were safely rescued and it’s believed one was being treated at the hospital for an undisclosed issue.
