Dee Snider Wants to Wear Twisted Sister Makeup Again in Response to Anti-Drag Laws
Dee Snider is not going to take it anymore when it comes to the influx of anti-drag bills being introduced by state legislatures across the United States.
The Twisted Sister singer retweeted a Twitter user writing about Montana’s HB 359. The original verbiage of the bill specifically targeted drag performances and drag story hours where a drag performer reads a book to a group of children. That language has since been stricken from the bill and replaced with “adult-oriented shows.”
Snider wrote along with his retweet, “You know I haven’t worn the Twisted Sister Makeup in many years…but now I’m tempted to put it back on!”

A Twitter user replied to Snider writing, “In fairness, there’s a lot of us up here in Montana who wonder just how many of the members of our state government were dropped on their heads as babies because the stuff they’re pushing through doesn’t make any more sense to us than it does to anyone outside of Montana.” I'm willing to bet it's the majority of you. The bullying minority is getting away with murder and it is time for the true majority to start pushing back...HARD! https://t.co/0lWZmxOOlE

Snider double-downed and later I took off the @TwistedSisterny makeup more than a decade ago, but in light of the current stupidity in the USA it just might be time to start wearing it again!

Per Time, “Drag shows have become the latest target of conservative criticism, as a slew of other anti-drag bills have been introduced in at least fourteen other states.” Tennessee was the first state to pass an anti-drag bill into law. However, according to ABC News, a Federal judge temporarily blocked the law hours before it was about to go into effect.
