Wolf Escapes Enclosure, Runs Loose in Zoo
Things got a little crazy at an Ohio zoo when a Mexican gray wolf escaped from its enclosure and ran loose in on guest paths for a short time.
A zoo spokesperson confirmed that Sarra, a 4-year-old wolf, escaped from an enclosure earlier this week and was wandering loose in a public area before being safely captured. Officials are currently investigating the escape. All five of the other gray wolves remained in the enclosure.
A visitor of the zoo managed to get some video of the escaped wolf.
Thankfully, no injuries to the wolf, staff or visitors of the zoo were reported during the animal’s escape.
