Motorcyclist Crashes Trying to Cross a Raising Drawbridge
A motorcyclist from Georgia caused some issues in Daytona Beach, FL after they crashed on a drawbridge that was opening last week.
The motorcyclist ran past the traffic arms lowering for the bridge to rise. According to police the arm that struck the rider caused them to fall off, but the video looks like the driver bailed once they realized they wouldn’t make the jump. The motorcycle was left dangling over the edge of the bridge.
THREAD (2 OF 2): It's unclear at this time when the Main Street Bridge will reopen. We'll advise when the bridge is open again.#DaytonaBeach #DaytonaStrong #DBPDStrong #BikeWeek pic.twitter.com/BMYQJ3Jz1o

The driver was uninjured and the bridge was reopened later that day.
