The Black Keys have debuted a new song off their upcoming Delta Kream blues cover album.
The new track sees them covering the R.L. Burnside song “Going Down South,” with frontman Dan Auerbach going falsetto and Patrick Carney rocking out on drums.
“Going Down South” is available now via digital outlets. Listen to the song below.
Delta Kream will arrive May 14. The album honors Mississippi hill country blues artists and features the band’s previously released cover of the track “Crawling Kingsnake.”
The Black Keys’ latest album of original music is 2019’s Let’s Rock.
