Each year, Mackinac Island hosts its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and Christmas Bazaar fundraiser. This year, of course, is different, but the good news is that people across the state, and world, will be able to watch virtually.
A Facebook Live event on the Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau event page is schedule for 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6 to stream the tree lighting ceremony.
For more information, head to Facebook.com/MackinacIslandTourismBureau.
As for the annual Christmas Bazaar fundraiser, the event, which befits Mackinac Island churches and the medical center, will also be virtual.
