Alice Cooper and Lzzy Hale have signed on as judges for a new music competition show that highlights unsigned bands performing original music.

Hit Parader’s No Cover also features fellow celebrity judges Gavin Rossdale, Bishop Briggs and Tosin Abasi and touts a team of hosts including Matt Pinfield, Kellin Quinn and Caity Babs.

Per the show’s official website, “While most music competition shows such as American Idol and The Voice encourage musicians to cover other people’s songs, No Cover will spotlight artists and bands that write and record their own original music. At the end of season one, winning artist(s) will secure a six-figure recording contract with Sumerian Records, booking agency representation from UTA, management from the Shelter Music Group, high-profile festival slot(s) via Danny Wimmer Presents, studio time at Nightbird Recording Studios, new gear from Gibson brand endorsements, licensing opportunities and more.”

The first season of No Cover will be filmed at The Troubadour in West Hollywood, Calif.

Bands interested in appearing on the show can do so at NoCoverShow.com where they will also find complete application details.
