Queen, Metallica Top Physical Album Sales List on Billboard’s ‘Money Makers’ Report
Queen and Metallica topped Billboard’s physical album sales list featured in their new “Money Makers” report highlighting the highest-paid musicians.
The “Money Makers” list featured the top 40 highest-paid musicians in music, and the ranking was determined by combining the revenue from music sales/streaming, publishing and touring.
Only the top ten artists were ranked on the top music sales list, but half the list was made up of rock artists. Queen topped the music sales list earning a staggering $9.6 million in revenue. Metallica was in a distant second with $3.6 million.
