Corey Taylor fans have a lot to look forward to this week with the Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman dropping new music from his first solo project.

Spotify has two singles currently listed under Taylor’s artist page: “Black Eyes Blue” and “CMFT Must Be Stopped,” the latter of which features rappers Tech N9ne and Kid Bookie.

Taylor confirmed via social media that new music will be dropping on Wednesday, July 29.

Taylor mentioned back in May in an interview with Lzzy Hale that he had completed his first solo album while in quarantine.

“All the songs are things that I’ve written over the years but they didn’t really fit with either band,” said Taylor. “So, it’s stuff that I’ve just kind of been sitting on. I’ve been kind of talking about doing a solo album anyway, and I was just, like, ‘This is the perfect time to do it.'”

In total, Taylor said he has about 25 songs recorded, and he laid down all of those track in about two-and-a-half weeks.
