This year marks the 40th anniversary of Motörhead’s legendary 1980 album “Ace of Spades,” and that milestone will be properly celebrated on the 2020 “Eighth of May.”

This Friday, May 8, fans are encouraged to participate in a bunch of Motörhead activities– all online, of course.

Other Motörhead Day activities include a Warpig Facebook and Instagram filter, a new lyric video for “Ace of Spades” and a new band merchandise line raising funds for Crew Nation, the touring crew charity supporting crews who are off the road due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Fans are also also encouraged to post a photo of themselves online raising a toast to Lemmy and the guys of Motörhead and hashtagging it #8thofMay. Jack and Coke optional– wink, wink.
