Billie Joe Armstrong and his “No Fun Mondays” covers series is now being rolled out to major streaming platforms.

Armstrong announced the release of his cover of Tommy James and the Shondells’ “I Think We’re Alone Now” via social media along with the short statement, “Releasing singles of the #NoFunMondays covers.” “I Think We’re Alone Now” is available for streaming/download on all major digital platforms here.

Armstrong has been sharing a new cover song every week that the Green Day frontman has recorded while in quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to “I Think We’re Alone Now,” Armstrong has release three other covers: Johnny Thunders’ “You Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory”The Bangles’ “Manic Monday,” featuring Bangles frontwoman Susanna Hoffs; and The Avengers’ “Corpus Christi.” So far, there’s no known timeline as to when these covers will be available for streaming/download.
