Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows is a known fan of the Call of Duty franchise, and now he is quite literally part of the popular video game.

Shadows recently took part in a stream about Black Ops 4, the latest installment of the Call of Duty franchise, and it was unveiled he’s now a playable character.

“It’s amazing! It’s a dream come true, I think, ” said Shadows around the 1:17:30 mark in the video below. “I can’t wait to see what kind of videos people make of my character…The trailer looks amazing! I’m really excited to see what people do with this. I frequent Reddit a lot. I see a lot of people saying they want to see the Avenged Sevenfold characters.”

A7X released the EP Black Reign in September 2018 of all of the songs they’ve contributed to the Call of Duty franchise over the years.
