Finally!  Here’s some good news about Ozzy Osbourne and his health.

Sharon Osbourne offered this brief, but positive, update on yesterday’s episode of CBS’ The Talk.

“He’s doing great! He’s out of ICU,” said Sharon. “He’s doing good. He’s breathing on his own.”

Sharon continued, “I just want to say a huge ‘Thank you’ to everybody that has reached out with good wishes. He’s [Ozzy] is overcome by the response that has had.  It’s kind of bittersweet because he’s so overwhelmed with it, but he’s sad, too.”

The Talk - Sharon Osbourne Reports Ozzy's 'out of ICU' and 'breathing on his own'

Tuesday on "The Talk," Sharon Osbourne shares a medical update on husband, Ozzy after being hospitalized for the flu. "He's doing great. He's out of ICU and he's doing good. He's breathing on his own," says Osbourne. "And I just want to say a huge thank you to everybody that has reached out with good wishes.

Ozzy is presumably sad because he’d rather be on tour than stuck in a hospital.  (Who can blame him, really?) Regardless, fans would likely just want The Prince of Darkness to take the time to get back to full health before heading back on the road again.

Ozzy had to postpone the entire European leg of his “No More Tours 2” farewell tour because of this recent bout with the flu/bronchitis.  So far, rescheduled dates have not been announced.
