Ann Wilson’s latest album, Immortal, features an outstanding cover of Audioslave’s “I Am The Highway,” a tribute to her friend and fellow Seattle icon Chris Cornell, and now Wilson has released its accompanying video.

“It’s a song about a person who refuses to be tied down by the mundane, who is constantly looking for freedom and independence on a much more universal scale, not just the ordinary, every day tied down type reality,” said Wilson on your YouTube channel.  “I think it showed Chris best as a singer, too.  Just that strong, passionate, masculine voice he had that was just a cry of a soul.”

Wilson definitely puts her own unique spin on “I Am The Highway” and is for sure a fitting tribute from one iconic voice to another.

Immortal is available at AnnWilsonOfHeart.com and on streaming and digital platforms.
