VIDEO: Stone Sour Gets Poignant with “St. Marie”
The videos Stone Sour has put out from their latest album Hydrograd have differed from performance videos with a twist to delightful gender-swapping fun, but the video for “St. Marie” is something completely different.
“St. Marie” follows the band on a journey in an old-school family-style conversion van where they encounter a variety of different faces along the way. It’s certainly the most moving the band has gotten with their videos off their sixth studio album.
Let’s put it this way: Corey Taylor told Billboard that “St. Marie” conjured up the band’s “inner Eagles.” One watch and listen of the clip below, and you’ll definitely agree.
