Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 is among the many musicians stepping forward to provide assistance in the wake of Hurricane Harvey’s devastating toll on Houston.
Hoppus has posted an Instagram message promising random gifts from his clothing company, Hi My Name Is Mark, for those who to donate “new/newish and clean” clothing to Houston flood relief. He writes that, “The flooding in Houston is devastating. Watching the tragedy unfold across the country has been tough. What can we do? It doesn’t take that much to help one another. After a few texts, a few calls, and some work from the crew, a plan was put into action.”
Hoppus is asking fans to ship the clothes to the Southside Skatepark in Houston (510 Iowa St., 77587), where clothes will be distributed to those who need it.
Blink-182 have also created a special shirt available on their website with 100% of the proceeds going to the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Fund.
Blink-182 is currently working on a new album after having to cancel a fall tour with Linkin Park due to Chester Bennington‘s death.
