Tina Turner was one of music’s biggest icons. She helped influence and pave the way for countless artists during her decades-long career. tina-turner-dies-at-83 (May 24) at age 83, Turner lives on through her incredible music catalog and her legacy of towering strength and courage.

Many people took to social media to pay tribute to the legendary singer. Below are just some of the notable messages from other figures in the music/entertainment world and beyond.

    Beyonce paid tribute to Turner via a statement on her official website. She said, “My beloved queen. I love you endlessly. I’m so grateful for your inspiration, and all the ways you have paved the way. You are strength and resilience. You are the epitome of power and passion.
