Earlier this week I put out a list of my least favorite movies of 2023. Well, here’s my list of the top movies of the year from my seat in the theater. Yes, I watch a lot of movies in the theater like in the olden days. LOL
That being said, I do watch a lot of movies at home on streaming services. I should probably wait until most of the new movies end up there, but patience isn’t something I have a lot of when I want to see a film.
There were some movies I haven’t seen yet as a write this. I did not get a chance to see It’s A Wonderful Knife yet. I purposely didn’t see The Machine because I like Bert Kreischer enough now, I don’t want that to erode. The premise of that movie doesn’t do much for me. Who knows? Maybe I’ll watch it over the Christmas break.
Again, I watch a lot of movies from the horror genre, so that’s what most of these are. I didn’t include Oppenheimer, even though I thought it was decent. I did include another historic movie though. Another three plus hour film that was good.
Without further ado, let’s get into the movies I liked from the past twelve months. I have to admit, nothing really blow me away. There were some good scary movies, but not much that really knocked my socks off.
As always, feel free to let me know what you think in an email at meltdown@wrif.com.
