Why Fear Factory Has Not Announced Their New Singer
Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares spoke with The Garza Project Podcast about why Fear Factory has yet to reveal their new singer.
“I was gonna announce it and release a track just before the tour with Static-X, but the tour got postponed, and I went on tour with Soulfly,” said Cazares, who went on to explain that there’s planning and timing involved with the announcement and that if Fear Factory announced it with no tour or record behind it, the opportunity to create hype for something would be lost.

The Guitarist Who Most Inspired Nita Strauss
Nita Strauss revealed in a recent interview that the guitarist who inspired her the most is former Michael Jackson guitarist Jennifer Batten.
After seeing Batten play the Super Bowl with the King of Pop, Strauss said, “I can do that. I want to do that, because now she showed me that I can do that.” Strauss also shared, via her Instagram, that she messed up her knee during a recent show and had to get a steroid shot in said knee as well as an MRI to find out just how bad things are.
Sepultura’s Eloy Cassagrande Has Emergency Surgery
Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande recently had to leave their tour after breaking his leg and while doing physical therapy to rehab it, he was admitted to the hospital a second time for emergency surgery on a Kidney infection.
"I'm already at home to continue with the physiotherapy for my leg. I’m fighting to be back as soon as possible,” assured Casagrande on social media and joked that his socials are turning more into medical bulletins than music content.
Archspire’s Gear Was Nearly Stolen
Canadian Death Metal band Archspire nearly had their current tour cut short after someone tried to steal the trailer with all their gear after a show in Austin, TX.
"We had our van parked in a hotel parking lot and two trucks rolled up and started trying to detach the trailer from our van,” said the band. Luckily, their drummer Spencer was sleeping in the back and woke up and scared the thieves away before they could make off with the merch, gear and clothing inside.
