U.S. gymnast and social media personality Olivia “Livvy” Dunne is one of the most popular women on social media in 2023. She has millions of followers and admirers online, and she’s also one of the famed Sports Illustrated swimsuit models, having been featured in the magazine this year.

Dunne was at the ESPY Awards at Dolby Theatre on Wednesday (July 12) in Hollywood, California. She even posed for a photo with the one and only Mike Tyson. Check out fresh photos from the event below.

But, back to Sports Illustrated. When Dunne found out she was going to be in Sports Illustrated’s coveted issue, she broke her privacy contract to tell one person: her mom. I don’t think she got in trouble for it, so that’s good. I couldn’t keep it from my mom either. Frankly, it’s adorable that Dunne is so close to her mom that she couldn’t keep the news from her mom. It’s also nice to see Dunne’s mom being so supportive of her daughter’s endeavors.

“As soon as I got off the phone, I was jumping up and down,” Dunne said in a video interview with SI Swim. “I called my mom, even though you’re not supposed to tell anyone right away. I had to tell my mom.” Dunne and her mom were able to stay hush-hush until the issue was announced on April 27. Then, she took to her massive social channels to spread the world. Did you know that she has more than 11 million social media followers? She has more than 4.1 million followers on Instagram and more than 7.4 million TikTok followers. That’s incredible. Those numbers, of course, make Dunne one of the most popular female athletes on social media. Even when you put her up against actors and rock stars, her numbers often come out on top.
