Fender announced in October 2018 they would be partnering with Jimmy Page to release four new artist signature models recreating Page’s 1959 Fender Telecaster. Three months later, the guitar giant has released new photos of the Signature Telecaster.  (Surprise! They’re stunning!)

Page used the ‘59 Fender Telecaster while in The Yardbirds and to record Led Zeppelin I.  The guitar at one point featured two distinct designs:  A white blonde body with eight circular mirrors glued on the body and then an elaborate dragon.

Two versions of each design will be released, with one version falling under the “limited edition” label. There will only be 50 units available which will be built by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Paul Waller.

The making of these limited edition guitars has been supervised by Page himself, who also has signed each headstock and added hand-painted accents to the dragon artwork.

The “limited edition” versions of the Dragon and Mirrored Telecaster will set you back a whopping $25,000 each.  (Yikes!) The standard versions are significantly less, with the Dragon Telecaster priced at $1,399.99 and the Mirrored Telecaster priced at $2,499.99.

Full specs on each guitar can be found at FenderCustomShop.com.
