The $150K Dog Palace
If you’ve got an extra $150K burning a hole in your pocket, and a dog with a thing for Asian architecture, have we got a product for you.
In Japan, Cultural Property Structural Plan, Co. specializes in “the preservation and repair of cultural property buildings and seismic reinforcement design.” They’re also into building high-end doghouses. The Inuden Project is where they created the “ultimate doghouse” by “using the beauty and technology of Japanese shrines and temples by experts in traditional architecture.”
The doghouse is built by hand, which makes it an “exclusive” product, and make the price tag easier to defend. Orders for the first house will be taken starting on September 1st, and if more than one comes it, there’ll be a lottery to determine who can buy the only one being made in 2022.
