When you get to see bloopers on the news, it’s just the best! We are all lucky that the cameras are rolling when mistakes happen on live TV!
Doing the news live is a great was to get the most up-to-date information. But, when you do it live, you leave yourself open to errors and faux pas. We love a good collection of news bloopers, they are just the best! Especially to Dave, who has had his fair share of mispronunciations and mistakes live on the air. It’s helpful to know that you’re not alone!
We found a video with some of the best news bloopers of the year! From one anchor soliciting the news station’s Tinder account (which we assume doesn’t exist) a weather man who slipped up and referred to himself as a “hot lover” while talking about a warm weather front.
One anchor has a moment of double embarrassment when she not only has to admit that she has to stand on a box behind the anchor desk, but also the fact that she nearly fell off of her box while live on the camera.
Everybody’s favorite inflatable dinosaur costumes make an appearance behind a field reporter while she was doing a story about holiday travel at the airport.
Of course, there are moments of plain and simple equipment failure, including one weather man who had to mime his way through a report when his microphone failed to work. You know that we have experienced our fair share of technical difficulties at our own show, it’s nice to see others having the same issues.
Our favorite might just be a veteran news reporter who does her impression of a turkey live on the air! We have to admit that the impression is dead on, but it may look like she is gobbling something else at the same time. (Probably not the best choice to make live on the news).
