Alice in Chains fans, this is big. The lost journals of the late Layne Staley are set to be published later this year. Titled This Angry Pen: The Lost Journals of Layne Staley, the collection will feature handwritten lyrics, poetry, artwork, and rare photos of the iconic frontman. A must-have for any AIC fan, the book is available for preorder now and officially releases on November 11th.
Underoath Drops New Single & Announces Album Release Date
Post-hardcore veterans Underoath are back with their 10th studio album, The Place After This One, hitting shelves on March 28th. The first single, “All the Love Is Gone,” is streaming now, giving fans a taste of what’s to come. And if you’re ready to see them live, Underoath is hitting the road with Papa Roach and Rise Against this year, with a stop at Pine Knob on September 28th. Grab your tickets while you can!
A Day to Remember Surprise Drops New Album (Sort Of!)
A Day to Remember just pulled a surprise move, dropping their new album as a physical-only release on vinyl and CD. For those who can’t wait, two new singles, “Make It Make Sense” and “LeBron,” are already available for streaming. The full album will land on all digital platforms on March 21st, so get ready!
Machine Head Announces 11th Album & Detroit Tour Date
Bay Area metal legends Machine Head are set to drop their 11th studio album, Unatoned, on April 25th. The band recently released a music video for their second single, “Unbound,” and it’s as brutal as you’d expect. Detroit fans, mark your calendars—Machine Head will be tearing up The Fillmore on May 2nd.
