This past week we were able to catch up with our beloved opener for Riff Fest 2024 Stormstress! They've been incredibly busy since we last saw them live on the festival stage for Riff Fest this past September. Stormstress has been working on a new album, and they departed for an overseas tour.
On March 21st, the band kicks off their "Across Troubled Seas" Tour at "the Cave" in New Amsterdam, Netherlands. They will also play three other shows on the tour. Their next stop is the Le Hombroux in Belgium on March 22nd and the Ragnarök Live club in Bree, Belgium on the 23rd.
Stormstress will finish up their tour on March 27th when they journey to London, UK and the birthplace of Iron Maiden at Cart & Horses!

Stormstress Teases New Album
The lucky fans who could hear Stormstress perform live at Riff Fest 2024 got to hear something special from the group. The band actually played a brand-new song that hasn't even released yet and is going to be a part of their new album.
I sat down and interviewed the three amazing members of the group: Tanya Venom, Tye Mayhem, and Maddie May Scott. We talked about music and their tour. The band revealed to me that they will be diligently working on their new album when they return from their tour, hopefully having it released later in the year. Catch the full interview with the band below!
Every true metal fan should listen to the band. They have some incredible songs in their catalog. Their album "Silver Lining" features heavy-hitting tracks like "Internal Divide," "Corpses Don't Cry," and "Buried You in the Snow." Personally, everything they put together is a masterpiece. Be sure to check out Stormstress on Apple Music, Spotify, and the band's website!
