Pop Evil Announces New Album
Michigan’s own Pop Evil is back! Their eighth album, What Remains, is dropping on March 21st, and it’s already creating buzz. To celebrate, they’ve released a video for their third single, Wishful Thinking, which you can watch now.
While waiting for a tour announcement, you can catch them at Wisconsin’s Riverfront Revolt Fest this month. Fingers crossed for some Michigan dates soon!
AC/DC’s History Takes a Brutal Hit
Sadly, some unfortunate news for classic rock fans. The Australian home where AC/DC legends Malcolm and Angus Young lived as teens has been accidentally demolished. The modest two-bedroom house stood as a piece of rock history until about a month ago when the developer—unaware of its significance—knocked it down. While they’ve issued an apology, we can’t help but feel the rock world just lost a piece of its soul.
The Darkness Release a New Single
British rockers The Darkness are teasing their upcoming eighth album, Dreams on Toast, with the release of their new single, I Hate Myself. You can check out the high-energy video online.
The new album is set to drop on March 28th, but here’s the kicker—they currently have no U.S. tour dates lined up! While this might sting for fans stateside, we’ll keep you updated if they decide to hop across the pond.
Heavy Metal Buzz with Cradle of Filth
Metal heads, it’s time to celebrate! Cradle of Filth announced their next album, The Screaming of the Valkyries, in early April.
But that’s not all. Frontman Dani Filth spilled some tea about their much-anticipated collaboration with Ed Sheeran (yes, you read that right). While the track won’t be on the album, it’s already complete and “sitting on a shelf” waiting to see the light of day.
Want to catch Cradle of Filth live? They’ll hit The Crofoot in Pontiac, Michigan, on May 8th. Mark your calendars!
