You Don’t Expect The Hospital To Lose Your Skull
Imagine for a second that you have part of your skull removed during surgery. Then, when it’s time to put it back on your head, it’s been misplaced. This happened to a man from Atlanta and he’s now suing the hospital.
Yep. It’s real. According to 11Alive, a man in Atlanta is suing the hospital where he had surgery after they allegedly misplaced his skull in between the procedures. He was charged $19K for a replacement and even more in hospital fees for infections over the years, according to 11Alive.
Dave starts by saying you’d hate for the hospital to lose something of yours during surgery. That could mean anything, right? We were caught off guard when he told us that it was part of a man’s skull! Immediately Chuck begins to talk like we think a man with half a head would.
Now, when Dave begins to show us the news story, it stops almost immediately. Because hearing about a man losing his skull is one thing. But to actually see the guy, with almost half of his head missing, is shocking to say the least.
At one point in the ‘Peep Show’, Dave pretends to be breaking the news to Chuck that his skull is missing following a surgery and Chuck has trouble speaking. Chuck then begins talking like a pirate, which seems completely plausible if half of your head was missing. Dave warns him not to look in the mirror because he won’t like what he sees. But, Chuck does it anyway and let’s out a hilarious shriek after seeing his head. Dave tried to warn him!
The news station mentions that they hope to speak to the individual featured in the story and we’ll be patiently awaiting that update to share with you all.
