Drunk on the News
Have To Love a Drunk Person Doing a News Interview
The stories that come out of Florida do not surprise us anymore. Neither do stories about men falling victim to escort scams. And, we have encountered our fair share of drunk news interviews as well.
A man in Port Charlotte, Florida was tied up during a home invasion after he was the victim of a escort scam. According to NBC2, the man was expecting to meet up with a 27-year-old woman after meeting online. When she arrived, she was also with two men, and the trio tied up the victim, robbed his home and stole his car.
Now, this is where the alleged drunk man on the news enters the story. A neighbor named Joshua Justice was approached by police who were seeking the trio to their home. They believed his was involved in the crime and began questioning him. He was eventually found to be innocent and isn’t facing any charges.
The news station conducted an interview with Justice about the mistake and we believe he is intoxicated during that report, which can be seen here. We notice something going on almost immediately as Justice seems to be swaying and slurring his words.
Lisa mentions how he sounds exactly like Chuck’s drunk voice when he’s portraying wasted characters on the show. Then, Dave takes the role of newsman and Chuck puts his own spin on the alleged drunk man’s interview.
Related Peep Shows
If you enjoy Chuck’s drunk characters, there are many examples throughout the history of the show. One of my favorites is when Chuck is portraying a drunk pilot. You can see the video here if you’d like on our YouTube channel.
We enjoy news blunders on the show. A great example is one of our Peep Shows titled “The News Shows a Dong”. You can watch it here. Seems self-explanatory to me! Enjoy!
