Bodybuilders are always looking for gains. How can they make themselves bigger and stronger? They’ll put strange chemicals and supplements into their body, hoping to bulge. However, sometimes it doesn’t go as planned. What crazy things did an Indian bodybuilder eat, thinking it would make him bigger?
You’re not supposed to do this. However, I understand the thought. Let’s look at where things went wrong.

Zinc has many benefits. It helps your immune system and metabolism function. However, it won’t do much to make you a better bodybuilder, especially if you’re consuming it the way this guy did.
According to The New York Post, doctors at a New Delhi hospital removed 39 coins and 37 magnets from a man’s intestine because he believed that “zinc helps in bodybuilding.”
Man, this is…something. Really? Are you going to eat coins because you think the zinc will help your bodybuilding career? First, not what zinc primarily does for the body! Second, don’t eat coins! So many problems can arise. It’s a terrible decision. It was a dumb decision.
Looking at X-rays, you can see massive metal clots forming in his intestines after he spent weeks ingesting the coins, per the ANI news wire. He mistakenly believed that the zinc in the coins he ate would be absorbed into his body. Well, that’s not what happened!
According to The New York Post, the man, who hasn’t been identified, had been complaining of abdominal pain and vomiting that had gone on for more than 20 days. The Post says the coins and magnets had caused intestinal obstruction in his body, prompting an immediate surgical procedure to get the metals out of his body.
Sure, zinc has some benefits. However, ingesting them that way can result in zinc toxicity, according to Poison Control. So, don’t do that. Please.
I’m just picturing Chuck with his metal detector going over this guy’s body like, “Yeah, there’s a lot in there.” There are lots of treasures to behold inside this man’s body.

Chuck The Freak's List Of 8 Unlikely 80s Icons
The 80s were a time to remember. You had rock gods, Hollywood superstars, and mesmerizing athletes. Here is Chuck The Freak’s list of 8 unlikely 80s icons.
Not every 80s icon was one you’d expect. This group of people are the unsung heroes. Ones that the everyday Joe can relate to.
Chuck The Freak’s List Of 8 Unlikely 80s Icons
Chuck The Freak‘s list is different than most lists featuring 80s icons. Personally, I find it more relatable. There are tons of obvious heroes and icons of the 80s. However, the unlikely 80s icons don’t receive as much love. They deserve recognition.
In this list, we’ll introduce you, or probably re-introduce you, to some of the finest folks the 80s had to offer. You’ll likely remember some of these familiar characters. If not, we’re happy to introduce you to them for the first time!
Now, these individuals are all icons for their own unique reasons. Some, are relatable every day Joe’s who we can see ourselves in. Others, are pure testosterone driven Alpha Males. Then, you’ll find everywhere in between as well.
There are characters from classic movies and cult favorites. Even a couple of singers made the list. It’s funny, the 80s were a vastly different time. Some of the people on the list are still famous today, but they aren’t nearly the same type of person or level they were in the 80s.
The younger generation may see some of these names and be totally confused. “How was that guy an icon?” Well, times were different. Our superstars weren’t the same back then.
You ready to check out the list? Chuck The Freak provided the examples and quotes. Then, I filled in the rest with some commentary on his choices. Can you think of any unlikely 80s icons before we get to the list? Take a second. Think about it. Ready? Let’s get to the list!
Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
