Michigan is Finally Getting Jack in the Box – Here’s Where
I’m always slightly frustrated when I see an ad on TV for a restaurant that looks really yummy but isn’t in my area. Why the tease? Well, now, one fast food restaurant chain that hasn’t been in Michigan for a long time is finally coming back to the Mitten. That chain in Jack in the Box, which is expanding into Michigan.
According to the chain, Jack in the Box will open several restaurants in Michigan over the next five years. They have worked out an agreement with franchisee Niraj Patel to open the Michigan stops. So, where will these new Jack in the Box restaurants be located?
The first Michigan Jack in the Box location will be in Battle Creek. They plan to open five locations in West Michigan over the next five years. No word yet on if the chain will also move into other areas of Michigan. As of right now, it appears to be mainly in West Michigan.
“This is very exciting because we can give our community more food options and help provide 40 to 50 new jobs per location,” Patel said in a statement. “We have been in our West Michigan community for decades, and we love to see the growth in our community. We own and operate a dozen hotels in the West Michigan area and want to expand our hospitality portfolio with the addition of a QSR concept.”
Jack in the Box is known for its lines of burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, breakfast and late-night food choices. It will be open 24 hours a day. Also, each Michigan stop will make sure to have the brand’s CRAVED design. This isn’t the first time a Jack in the Box has been in Michigan, though. The chain previously had restaurants in Southeast Michigan, but they closed decades ago. So, this is truly a big deal for fast food fans in Michigan.
