Different countries and cultures will have different ways of preparing food. Not all of them make sense to us. Like, are you supposed to wash bread before consuming it?
One woman in Pakistan is going viral for showing how she washes her naan bread before toasting it up. It’s been causing quite the stir online! Are we supposed to be doing that?

Across the globe, we all eat leftovers. Sometimes, we eat them cold. Other times we’ll try to reheat them in the microwave or even get fancy and put them back in the oven. However, one woman is now going viral for doing something to her leftovers that I’ve never seen before.
Alishay, from Karachi, Pakistan, shared a video on social media showing her ‘washing’ some naan bread under a running tap before toasting it and eating it. Now, the video is causing a debate online. Some people are confused about the technique, others say they do a similar thing before reheating stale bread.
So, I’ve heard of adding a little water to stuff before reheating it to help bring it back to life. It will help add moisture and it won’t be dry. However, she’s really washing that thing! This isn’t adding a little bit of water for some moisture. The bread is soaked!
It was shocking for me to see. Adding a little water would make sense, this is far from a little! However, it doesn’t stop the bread from looking absolutely delicious. Somehow, it still looks like it would be crunchy and tasty. I guess this is one of those things that you can’t knock it before you try it.

I have spent so much time in drive-thrus that I think I could be considered an expert witness in a court case, at this point. I’ve seen delicious items come and go, prices climb, and experiences all the promos and deals. Why did KFC get rid of the Twister? When will McDonald’s bring back the famous Snack Wraps? Do you remember that? 99 cents! It was amazing. Now, the price for one JBC is closer to $3 than it is 99 cents. I feel like this is the new version of that old “back in my day, we’d walk 2 miles to school up hill both ways! stories your grandparents would tell. Now, these stories are all about how low the value menu prices were back in our day. “When I was your age, every item on the dollar menu was a dollar!”
