World Record Christmas Display has Neighbors Outraged
A family in New York City owns the Guinness World Record for lights on a property and are going to break their own record this year. But, the world record Christmas display has neighbors outraged. Not everyone is a fan of the Holiday season and Christmas displays don’t give everyone the warm and fuzzies. And evidentially, that’s apparent in a Union Vale neighborhood.
How many lights is too many lights?!
The Union Vale family has a Christmas light display that sets the bar high. With over 720,000 lights, this Christmas display lights up the neighborhood. To see the true scale of this thing, check out the AERIAL PHOTO and see what it looks like from the sky. Also, watch this VIDEO and see what the display is able to do.
Neighbor complaints
According to reports from the NY Times, many neighbors have had enough of the massive Christmas display. Crowds surround the house on a nightly basis and the long lines of cars that fill the street has become a nuisance. Now, some neighbors even say their lawns are littered with liquor bottles, garbage and even urine from people checking out the display.
Well, the owner of the display, Tim Gay, says he’s not going to be stopped. According to the, NY TIMES, he says why would he allow a few dozen people to stop what makes over 50,000 happy every year. And, has no plans of shutting down the world record attraction.

We here at Dave and Chuck the Freak would not be amused or like living next to something like this. We are all for Christmas spirit but over 720,000 lights does seem a bit excessive.
