Frame 42 ‘Ramona’ Official Music Video Premiere
Michigan's own, Frame 42!
If the name Frame 42 doesn’t already ring a bell, it’s definitely about to. The Michigan-based band has been on an absolute roll lately. Now, they’ve just dropped the official music video for their single, ‘Ramona.’
Frame 42 has been taking over the music scene here in Metro-Detroit (and beyond) lately. They kicked off Riff Fest 2023 on the Festival Stage and set the tone for the night to come. Their latest single, ‘Ramona,’ has been featured on Motor City Riffs, which airs every Sunday night from 9pm-10pm on 101 WRIF.

Regarding the new video for ‘Ramona,’ singer Ava Morris said, “We had so much fun creating the ‘Ramona’ video with Director JT Ibanez. We went in with no plan, except a small idea of what we wanted the set to look like, and let the direction of the video practically reveal itself before us. We couldn’t be prouder of what we came up with. JT, Rachel, and Spencer did an incredible job of bringing ‘Ramona’ to life!”
JT Ibanez is a Midwest-based director who has also directed music videos for Sevendust, Atreyu, and The Used. ‘Ramona’ is the first official music video for Frame 42’s new music off of EP1.
We’re proud to officially debut the official music video for Frame 42’s ‘Ramona’ here on 101 WRIF. Check out the video below! Then, keep scrolling for an exclusive interview with the band and photos from their set at Riff Fest!

Rock Band Frame 42 With Legendary Producer Toby Wright In Studio
It was so much fun to have Brock, Ava, Ben and Lucas from Frame 42 join me in studio, along with legendary producer, Toby Wright.
We talk about what it’s like for a young band to work with someone with the background Toby has. They tell me about their upcoming EP, some summertime plans, what their single “Ramona” is about and lots more. Toby talks about how hard working and talented the band was to work with and much more.

-Meltdown-
Meltdown started on the mighty WRIF on the evening of Halloween, 1995. Technically, his first on-air shift was the morning of November 1st. Moving to the Motor City from Buffalo, N.Y., he has built a career and family. Over his almost three-decade stint at RIFF, he's had the privilege to work with some of the biggest personalities in Detroit radio history. He boasts of being just the second-afternoon drive jock in the station's illustrious 53-year history.
Along with his love for rock music and attending concerts, he's also an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast and hockey player. He plays year-round and manages to squeeze in a few charity games throughout the year. Meltdown writes about the Detroit Red Wings, rock music, and Detroit concert venues.
