Motor City Riffs Playlist 09/24/2023
Every Sunday, from 9pm-10pm on Detroit’s 101 WRIF, we showcase some of the best bands that Metro-Detroit has to offer. This week, it’s going to be a blast. It’s already been a terrific week of music with Riff Fest happening at Pine Knob yesterday. Now, let’s close out the week with some Motor City Riffs.
Nate was still out of town; so, I (Cort Freeman, hey how are ya?) manned the ship by me lonesome. We have a great variety on the show this week, featuring some new bands and some familiar friends, as well. We will have some metal, some grunge, and everywhere in between and outside. If you like rock, there’s definitely something for you on the playlist this week.

If you didn’t already know, Motor City Riffs airs on 101 WRIF every Sunday night from 9pm-10pm and if you’d like your band to be featured on a future edition, it’s totally possible! Please send your MP3 and info about your band to [email protected] and you’ll be submitted to have your stuff played. Please make sure that you are a band from Michigan, or with ties to the area, and that your stuff is clean. If it’s explicit, it won’t get played.

We love connecting and finding the best and upcoming local artists to showcase on the show. If you and your band would like to be featured, don’t be afraid to reach out!
