'Barbie': Advance Screenings Coming To 2 Metro Detroit Theaters

Be among the first to witness the magic of the Barbie movie before its official release with an advance screening. Barbie has had numerous animated movies, but fans have eagerly awaited a live-action adaptation. The upcoming movie, directed by Greta Gerwig, is causing a stir among Barbie enthusiasts and film lovers alike. With Margot Robbie stepping into the role of the fashionable doll, this film is set to hit theaters on July 21.

The trailer beautifully combines nostalgia and innovation, offering a glimpse into the exciting world of the upcoming movie. Alongside Margot Robbie, the cast includes a star-studded lineup, with Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, and many more. The grand events of the red carpet premieres are in full motion. And a continuous stream of movie soundtracks by artists such as Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Nicki Minaj, and Ice Spice.

Next week, select movie theaters in Metro Detroit will host a special preview of the upcoming Barbie movie. Prior to its official premiere on July 21 at midnight, certain Emagine theater venues will screen the film two days in advance, starting at 7 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase refreshments and enjoy special concessions. The theater is encouraging moviegoers to wear pink for the occasion.

Emagine Theaters will have advance screenings held at their theaters in Canton and Rochester Hills. Additionally, they organized a unique event called Barbie, Bubbles, and Brunch. It will be at Emagine locations in Birmingham and Royal Oak on July 23rd. This event will celebrate the much-awaited release of the movie, featuring renowned actors Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Admission includes bottomless mimosas, and a brunch buffet. Admission to the event is priced at $50 per person.
