Rihanna: Cops Swarm Her House As Man Shows Up Wanting To Propose
Rihanna’s house was surrounded by law enforcement on Thursday (March 23) after a man showed up to her home wanting to ask her to marry him, gossip site TMZ reports. Law enforcement sources told the tabloid that the man traveled from South Carolina. He was immediately met with security when he got onto the “Diamonds” singer’s property.
The man said he wanted to propose to RiRi, and that’s when her team immediately called law enforcement. Officers handcuffed the man and put him in the police car where they spoke to him about the incident. He was told to leave and not return back to Rihanna’s property again. It is not known whether Rihanna – who has a 10-month-old son with her partner A$AP Rocky – was at home at the time.
In 2021, police were called to Rihanna’s home after reports of an intruder.
Back in 2018, a man broke into Rihanna’s Hollywood home while she was out of town. Eduardo Leon hopped a fence and spent about 12 hours inside the home. The singer’s assistant discovered him and called the police. Leon entered a plea to one felony count each of stalking and vandalism. According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, he also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.
