Woman Couldn’t Prove Who She Was After Her Fingerprints Disappeared
A grandmother in Canada who was trying to volunteer at her grandsons school went in for a criminal background check when she learned she had lost her fingerprints!Because her fingerprints had disappeared and another woman with the same name as a criminal, she couldn’t pass a background check.

Yes, it can happen. Eczema, dermatitis, and celiac disease can all cause it. After making a ton of calls and getting referrals from government officials it was proven that she was NOT the criminal she shared the name with. It’s still unclear when or how she lost her fingerprints, but she will be able to volunteer at her grandsons school this fall.
