A woman in Florida got arrested after she jumped in the front seat of a fire engine and tried to steal it.Officers were responding to a call about a woman acting erratically at a beach. When they found the woman she claimed she needed CPR and as they were escorting her to an ambulance she ran away. There was no crime committed so the officers didn’t need to chase her. As the responders were getting ready to leave someone yelled that the woman was trying to steal the firetruck.
She was removed from the cab of the truck and handcuffed. When they asked if she was on anything, she claimed she’d been drinking the “Elixir of Life” . . . as in a magic potion that makes you immortal.
She’s facing a felony charge for grand theft auto.
