Bedrock and Emagine have teamed up to launch the Monroe Street Drive-In Powered by Emagine, which will feature drive-in movies for $20 per vehicle.

Opening night will feature a screening of the 1993 film Jurassic Park on Jan. 22.

The event boasts a state-of-the-art outdoor screen showing family-friendly feature films, adjacent to Campus Martius Park and downtown’s Woodward shopping district.

Movies will show every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. The drive-in will also offer a bevy of goodies, such as interactive lighting, top AV technology and traditional movie theater concessions. Attendees will also find warming areas, plantings and public restroom trailers.

The theater will enforce all current coronavirus (COVID-19) health and safety regulations, such as social distancing and mask wearing guidelines if guests step outside of their vehicles.
