Plenty of people are wondering who will be selected as the next Detroit Lions head coach, and right now, the options seems endless.
Here’s a tip, though. According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Lions are considering Urban Meyer, formerly of Ohio State, for the opening. Meyer is reportedly on the short list for both the Lions and the Jaguars.
As ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports, Meyer is going to decide in the coming weeks if he wants to be considered for NFL position and return to an active life in sports. If he wants to proceed, the Lions could call him in for an interview. Sources tell ESPN that if he makes the move to the NFL, he wants to make sure he can be truly dedicated to the position.
