Faith No More Raising Funds for Road Crew with Face Masks and More
The guys of Faith No More were forced to postpone their summer European tour due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and now, the band has launched a fundraising campaign to raise funds for members of their touring crew.
“There’s been plenty of attention about the collapse of the concert industry, how it has been impacting musicians, artists, agents,” bassist Billy Gould said in a statement. “But very little coverage has focused on the impact it’s made on a crucial element of live music and touring: the crew.”
“We have been working with these folks for years, and we feel very close to them,” Gould added. “Since shows are not an option, we are trying to do what we can to offset this unfortunate turn of events with a special merch sale.”
Some of the merchandise options include autographed posters, drum heads and vinyl albums, plus a Faith No More face mask, which seems to be the hot new item for bands.
