‘Fortnite’ Video Game Brings The #Boogiedown To Users
Users are encouraged to upload themselves dancing using the hashtag #Boogiedown – something we know is going to take a lot of personality from their users.
The game, for those who aren’t aware, is set up as follows, according to HotNewHipHop:
“Fortnite is one of the most popular and addicting games out right now. The battle royale styled game allows players to airdrop onto a map with 100 other players, and fight for survival.”
And as if the game wasn’t already popular enough, rappers Drake and Travis Scott recently played together in a stream through Twitch with another user, and now people have been gathering to play even more so than before.
Players are being encouraged to upload those dance moves to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with the hashtag #Boogiedown, and the most original, fun, and creative ones will be selected and turned into an emote (meaning it will let your character dance the same) that gamers will be able to use.
The contest lasts until April 10, so if you plan on dancing for the internet to see, get your entries in by then.
There is no word if the emotes selected will be free or if they will be in-game purchases.
