  • Members of Metallica, Death Angel, More Perform Covers

How did you spend your holiday weekend? Members of Death Angel, Queens of the Stone Age and Bad Wolves joined Kirk and Robert from Metallica the weekend previous to do a gig known as the Wedding Band, as part of the Bottle Rock After Dark shows in Napa, CA. Tearing through about 20 cover songs from Motörhead, Misfits, Black Sabbath and more! • Vinnie Paul’s House Sold, Demolished

  • Serj Tankian Talks About Video Game Addiction

System of Down vocalist Serj Tankian revealed that he is a video game addict in a new interview with Loudwire, where he recounted having to get rid of all his games and consoles on multiple occasions to go cold turkey. “In my early 20s I was a gamer. I used to have a PlayStation and all that stuff… playing way too many NBA Jam games and my fingers got really messed up.” Tankian continued, “at one point I realized this is getting really addictive… and I shouldn’t be doing this. I’m hurting my hands, and I need my hands to play.  So, I’m not [playing] games now, but I love doing music for them.” You can catch Serj in the upcoming first-person shooter Metal: Hellsinger, which will also feature Randy Blythe and Matt Heafy.
