While the history of code 420 and its origin is somewhat debatable, one thing is not, 420 means a lot to Detroit. And to celebrate this monumental day, multiple businesses are offering sales, events and swag for Tuesday the 19th and, of course, April 20th aka 420. Detroit Free Press listed a few of the following as locations to get your 420 deals.

  • Breeze (Hazel Park):

    Breeze, in Hazel Park is a recreational dispensary offering a free pre-roll with any $75 purchase through 4/20. On Wednesday, they’ll host vendors from Lion Labs, who will give away free branded swag.

  • Lume Cannabis (multiple locations):

    All Lume locations will hold a raffle on Wednesday. Customers also get 30% off all non-flower purchases, $4.20 grams of flower, $17 eighths of Chem de la Chem, Lightsaber and Jenny Kush, buy two get one free pre-roll 5-packs and a free gram of flower with any $100 purchase.

  • Liv Cannabis (multiple locations)

    The Liv Cannabis 420 Music Festival will take place at Adado Riverfront Park in Lansing on Saturday, April 23, featuring performances from rappers Too Short and Currensy, an appearance from Mike Tyson, and vendor booths and limited edition products. Tickets start at $50. On Wednesday, all four locations will offer food trucks, live music, deals and more.

  • House of Dank (multiple locations):

    Shoppers at all four locations of House of Dank will have a chance to win $10,000 on Wednesday during the dispensary’s 420 House Party. Guests will also enjoy food trucks, beats from live DJs, official vendors and BOGO discounts on flower, concentrates, accessories, apparel and more.

  • Gage Cannabis (multiple locations):

    Enjoy food trucks, DJs, photo booths, and prize wheels at all locations of Gage Cannabis on Wednesday. Giveaways include bags of flower, Gage-branded coolers and gift cards. A vacation for 2 valued at $4,000 will be raffled off. 20-25% off all products, 50% off doorbuster specials, 30% off topicals and tinctures, BOGO Camino, Dixie, Evolution, Smokies and Wyld brand edibles, 50% off Ripple edibles. 

  • Green Buddha (Ferndale):

    Shoppers can snag a pre-roll for a penny on Wednesday at Green Buddha, as well as limited-edition swag and free tacos from the Los Dos Amigos food truck. Vendors will be on-site with giveaways all day.

  • Pure Roots (Ann Arbor & Center Line):

    Both locations of Pure Roots will offer a raffle to win 420 Forté brand pre-rolls on Wednesday, along with food trucks and live music. The Burger Spot will serve up eats at the Ann Arbor dispensary, while Cool Jack’s Ice Cream truck will provide sweet treats at the Center Line location, which will also feature live music by DJ Nate Kane and rapper G.T.

  • Bloom City Club (Ann Arbor):

    At Bloom City Club, $5 pre-rolls and $5 grams of flower will be available on Wednesday, as well as $105 ounces. Shoppers can enter to win a pound of Hellcat flower and enjoy music, food, vendors and giveaways all day.

  • New Standard (Hazel Park):

    All customers of New Standard get double loyalty points on Wednesday, along with 50% off all Ripple products, buy-one-get-two penny Treetown products, buy-two-get-one penny Glorious Cannabis products and BOGO Terpene Tanks vape cartridges. The first 50 shoppers to spend $125 or more will have an opportunity to buy a $25 Sensi grab bag containing $300 worth of products. Glorious Cannabis product giveaways all day.

  • Green Door (Detroit):

     The Corktown provisioning center will host a 420 Block Party on Wednesday, featuring a $1,000 raffle, giveaways, music, vendors and food trucks. Check out Green Door here.

  • Greenhouse (Walled Lake):

    On Tuesday and Wednesday, all customers of Greenhouse get a free UBaked THC Infused Lemonade mix and an infused chocolate bar. Vendors from Element, Cresco, High Supply, Good News and UBaked will be on-site both days with giveaways and swag. On Wednesday, all guests receive a free Greenhouse 420 Family Reunion T-shirt.
