101 WRIF is celebrating the 101 Riffs Of Summer! All summer, we’re going to be spotlighting songs with some of the most epic “riffs” from your favorite WRIF bands. Make sure to listen Monday through Friday at 2pm for the daily “Riff Of Summer!” Plus, you’ll get two “riffs” on Two-Fer Tuesdays. That’s twice the Riffiness.

  • Monday, June 5th

    Helmet – “Unsung”

    This single was from their 1992 album, Meantime. It got significant play on MTV.

  • Tuesday, June 6th

    Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy – “Driving Rain”

    Off the Living the Dream album which was the fourth solo album by Slash and the third which featured Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators.


    Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy – “Back From Cali”

    Two-Fer Tuesday, so we get another jam! This track was from Slash’s self-titled solo album.



  • Wednesday, June 7th

    Clutch – “The Mob Goes Wild”

    From the 2004 album Blast Tyrant. The Mob Goes Wild reached #39 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks.


  • Thursday, June 8th

    Iron Maiden – “2 Minutes to Midnight”

    This kicked off their 1984 album Powerslave.


  • Friday, June 9th

    Badflower – “Animal”

    Off the Los Angeles-based band’s first EP, Temper.
