Unfortunately due to the pandemic, we were forced to cancel this year’s Riff Fest which was set to have Rob Zombie headline. As we face the uncertainty of not knowing when we will be allowed to attend shows again, lets throw it back to July 11, 2018, the last time Rob Zombie rocked DTE Energy Music Theatre. It was actually a tour we didn’t think we would ever see again. It was the “Twins of Evil: The Second Coming Tour” featuring Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. For those who forgot or didn’t know, the last time these acts played Detroit together (2012 at DTE), a feud broke out. Marilyn Manson had some choice words toward Rob Zombie at the end of his set after being cut a few songs short. Shots were fired back throughout Zombie’s set, and then the story evolved. Search “Zombie and Manson Feud” on YouTube, and you will be gifted all the fan footage to learn more. This time around, circumstances were a lot different. The show was in July, not October (no need to explain more), the two were getting along, and towards the end of the night Manson joined Zombie onstage for the LIVE debut of their cover of the Beatles track “Helter Skelter”. Check out fan footage HERE.

Be on the lookout for new music from both Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson in the near future. We’ll definitely share that once we get our hands on it! Marilyn Manson also recently announced that British photographer Perou will be releasing a book of classic and unpublished photos of Manson called “21 Years In Hell” in June. Check out that full story HERE!
