Warm weather concerts are my favorite! (Sounds like ELF – Smiling’s my favorite) We are holed up all winter long. When the weather breaks, it’s time to rock outside! Don’t get me wrong, any concert is a great event in my eyes. But there’s something about the open-aired experience that makes summer special in Michigan.
Here’s some pictures from my favorite summer concerts from this past year…..from 3 Doors Down with legendary producer, Toby Wright, to Shinedown with Papa Roach and Spiritbox, to Ghost on a perfect rainy night at Pine Knob, to Nickelback playing hit after hit, to Jackyl with Buckcherry at the Uncle Sam Jam, to Godsmack and Staind, to RIFF FEST. Man, this summer was full of great shows, these are just some of them.
A huge Thank You to everyone who stopped me to say hello while at the shows. I love meeting you guys. It’s funny, many people who meet me say “It’s good to put the voice with the face”. In my case, it’s good to put your face with the tiny pictures I see on socials!
One more big show at Pine Knob with the Avenged Sevenfold boys in a couple weeks, then that’s it for the massive outdoor shows for 2023. I’ll see you guys indoors for many great concerts throughout the winter/spring, including many at District 142, the Machine Shop in Flint, The Token, The Fillmore, Saint Andrews Hall, The LCA and on and on.
